We need volunteers for several new roles to keep our organization running smoothly and launching it into the new directions as well. The board would like to ask for volunteers for several roles. Social Media Coordinator: Responsible for posting on social media items of interest and chapter events. Grows our social media following and footprint. No experience required but knowledge of and familiarity with social media is a plus! Teen Engagement Coordinator: Responsible for communicating/scheduling all our teen facilitators, seeking additional training for teen facilitators, and growing the teen support and education programs.Works with the teen socials coordinator. Advisory Committee Members for outreach to people of color: Responsible for advising the board on how best to reach and create a welcoming and inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ people of color and their families. Chaperones for our teen socials: Currently held on first and third Saturday of each month via zoom. New Board Position: Vice President: Board member position, must be voted in. Responsible for the operations of the chapter including budgeting, chapter fundraising, and trains for succession to the role of board president. Position is 2 years.
