Our Mission & Vision

We envision a world where diversity is celebrated and all are respected, valued, and affirmed. Our mission is to build on a foundation of loving families united with LGBTQ+ individuals and allies who support one another, and to educate ourselves and our communities to speak up as advocates until all hearts and minds respect, value, and affirm LGBTQ+ people.

We work to realize this by meeting people where they are, and by acting upon our three pillars:

PFLAG Support - Provide safe spaces for open and friendly discussions for LGBTQ+ Adults & teens, families & allies
PFLAG Education - Strive to learn and teach others about the unique issues and challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community
PFLAG Advocacy - Work within our communities to change attitudes and push for policies and legislation that will bring full equality for all LGBTQ+ individuals

These spaces are intended to allow people to vent, receive necessary support and guidance, and to build a sense of community with others in their area with similar experiences.

If you have questions not answered on this site, we are happy to help and we try to respond quickly through our contact page. However, these are not monitored 24/7 and if this is an emergency or you think you might be in danger, please call 911.
