JOHNS CREEK Location Support Group Meetings WHEN: Tuesday, February 18 (3rd Tuesday of Each Month) 7 – 8:30 PM WHERE: Johns Creek United Methodist Church 11180 Medlock Bridge Road Johns Creek, GA 30097 (3rd Floor) PFLAG JOHNS CREEK is here for you! Providing free and confidential support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) individuals, and their parents, families, and friends in the North Atlanta metro area. PFLAG JOHNS CREEK support groups meet on the third Tuesday of each and every month at the JOHNS CREEK location. We know it can be intimidating, if not frightening, at first to share personal, real life struggles with strangers. Please know that you do not have to speak unless and until you feel comfortable. Some people just come and listen to others’ stories. Sometimes part of the process, especially in the beginning, is to just listen to others who have been where you are. PFLAG JOHNS CREEK is a safe space! And it’s OK to cry (We have plenty of tissues on hand!). We have four separate groups and each room has a sign identifying which group is meeting in that room. Choose the group that is best for you: TWEENS (Room 323) – A special safe space for LGBTQ+ tweens (4th-7th grade; ages 9-13) to socialize with other tweens. This is NOT a facilitated support group but instead a social group with games, art, and other fun for tweens to enjoy all while being themselves. The Tween Social Group runs concurrent with the older Teen and Adult Support Groups. A parent must attend an Adult Support Group Meeting or remain in the 3rd floor main hallway. TEENS (Rooms 325, 326) – Support/discussion for LGBTQ+ teens and their teen friends/allies (8th grade and up; minimum age 13) PARENTS/ALLIES (Rooms 315, 320, 322) – Support/discussion for parents, families, and friends of LGBTQ+ adults or youth. ADULTS (room 313) – Support/discussion for LGBTQ+ adults only. Safe space for adults including those who are questioning. Must be at least 18 years old.

Alexandra Billings in Oz the Musical! – #Repost @pflag ・・・ A glorious human! ❤️? #Repost @therealalexandrabillings ・・・ Last night I had the honor to be placed gently and with loving hands, into the glorious land of #Oz. With all my heart I cannot tell you the gratefulness and sheer unbridled joy I feel in living in a land of faith and spiritual guidance. Where home is defined by truth and the power of chosen family. Tonight was the beginning and I am honored to be in the center of this journey as it continues to teach me and lead me into the next beautiful event. Thank you Ozians. As you have done since I’ve been 7 years old, you have reminded me of what matters and what the universe is capable of. Here’s to the humans whose shoulders I stand on and whose memories I hold dear. My #queer ancestors and the histories they invoke. For I would be nowhere without their constant divine voices. Blessed to have family. Grateful to be home Because there really is no place like it @wicked_musical #transisbeautiful #transrightsarehumanrights #lgbtrightsarehumanrights #wewillnotbeerased #grateful #actorslife
