PFLAG Johns Creek has a new initiative to provide financial assistance to LGBTQ+ individuals, including parents of LGBTQ+ children/youth, to help them through a difficult financial time. We will be providing a gift of money to be used toward basic living expenses (food, rent/mortgage, clothing, medical care) or toward any mental or physical healthcare or needs related to being LGBTQ+ (therapy, transition expenses, etc). We will be using money donated to PFLAG Johns Creek for this purpose as well as a small amount of funding from our group. WHEN: Saturday, August 15 7:30 – 9 PM WHERE: ZOOM (Advance Registration Required) https://bit.ly/3fWAvLb Hang out! Have fun! BE YOURSELF! All in a safe & affirming space. We’ll play some cool games and do some fun activities! Feel free to drop off the zoom call at any time if you don’t feel safe for any reason, we understand. We will split into a few smaller breakout rooms, if needed, to facilitate some conversation and games.
