Join us tonight! PERIMETER Location – Support Group Meetings WHEN: Tuesday, September 4 (1st Tuesday of Each Month) 7-8:30 PM WHERE: Congregation B’nai Torah 700 Mt. Vernon Highway Sandy Springs, GA 30328 (Community Rooms A, B, & C) * Parking on the left of the main drive. The location is on your right as seen in map below. Meeting is in the main building. Follow the signs. No food or drink allowed due to kosher facility. * — PFLAG Johns Creek is here for you! Providing free and confidential support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) people, and their parents, families, and friends in the North Atlanta metro area. PFLAG Johns Creek support groups meet on the first Tuesday of each and every month at the PERIMETER location. We know it can be intimidating, if not frightening, at first to share personal, real life struggles with strangers. Please know that you do not have to speak unless and until you feel comfortable. Some people just come and listen to others’ stories. Sometimes part of the process, especially in the beginning, is to just listen to others who have been where you are. PFLAG Johns Creek is a safe space! And it’s OK to cry (We have plenty of tissues on hand!). — We have two separate groups, each led by PFLAG trained facilitators, and each room has a sign identifying which group is meeting in that room. Choose the group that is best for you: • TEENS (Room A) – Support/discussion for LGBTQ teens and their teen friends/allies (8th grade and up). • ADULTS (Rooms B & C) – Support/discussion for LGBTQ adults and parents, families, and friends of LGBTQ adults or youth. — Questions?
