AFSP Georgia is holding a Talk Saves Lives training for the LGBTQ+ community and their allies from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 29th, at Skyland Trail. Talk Saves Lives is a community-based presentation that covers the general scope of suicide, the research on prevention, and what people can do to fight suicide. Attendees will learn the risk and warning signs of suicide, and how together, we can help prevent it. It’s important for us to continue to be vigilant in learning about this topic. We hope you’ll attend. Among those taking the training will be Rep. Matthew Wilson, the primary sponsor of the legislation seeking to prohibit conversion therapy for minors in Georgia and the second openly gay man to be elected to the Georgia General Assembly. WHEN: Monday, July 29 7-8 PM WHERE: Skyland Trail 1961 N. Druid Hills Road NE Atlanta, GA 30329 RSVP: Stuart Winborne swinborne@afsp.org 404-275-3316
