She founded a practice called Queermed that specializes in affirming health care and hormone therapy for the transgender community. Dr. Lowell will discuss: • how to better understand the gender expansive experience • expert opinions regarding when and how best to transition if desired • best medical care standards and approaches for individuals who decide to transition • what to expect during medical transition We will leave time for Q&A after her presentation. PLEASE NOTE: Our regular scheduled support group meetings will meet as usual during the same time as the education event for those who need support or wish not to attend the education event.
