#Repost @freemomhugsgeorgia ・・・ During transgender awareness month you met @prestonuptous. Preston and his spouse @transitioningtomxlee have a beautiful love story and we want to share it with you. Introducing Mr. and Mx. Lee: Rewriting the Stars Together Every Day 04.07.2019 Ary was perusing their Facebook one day and Preston (under the name he was using at that time) popped up as a Suggested Facebook friend. They had many mutual friends through their affirming church so Ary took a chance in reaching out, and shortly after that, they became a couple – a lesbian couple at that time. Ary is often known for being an extremely kind and loving person and helped Preston feel ready to begin his transition to his true self around the time they became engaged. During their first year of marriage, Ary has felt inspired by their husband’s courage and has grown more confident due to the love they share that Ary has decided to make known that they do not identify with a gender and consider themselves to be non-binary. Preston and Ary have overcome a lot of pain in their lives to find love with each other – just as they are. They are a beautiful example of the happy transformations that love makes possible. After a honeymoon to New York City, the Lees reside in the Atlanta area with their 3 rescue animals. Following service in the US Army, Preston is getting a business degree and launching a nonprofit “It’s Up to Us” which intends to motivate, educate, and uplift the lgbtqia+ community and their allies. Ary is the owner of Champion Pet Services and is also pursuing their MSW to become a Social Worker and hopes to serve lgbtqia+ children and their families. They both are Starbucks baristas and PFLAG volunteers. During their first year of marriage, Preston and Ary are continuing to learn how to keep their relationship a priority by making a point to spend time together and have fun together even when their lives are busy. “No matter who you are, don’t give up on finding love. Lgbtqia+ people are all worthy of being loved not in spite of their gender identity or sexual orientation but because of it.” – Mr. and Mx. Lee
